Drottningholm Palace Theatre is seeking exhibition and shop staff for the 2026 season.

Guide

As a guide, you will showcase the public areas of the theatre through guided tours, themed viewings, group visits, and children's and family activities.

Together with a qualified team, you will help bring the past to life while presenting our artistic and educational work to the public.

You will teach in a lively and knowledgeable manner about the house's history, art, and activities.

You are expected to manage larger and smaller groups and lead these groups through the historic house. This requires a strong sense of responsibility and social skills.

The work includes lunch coverage in the museum shop, Teaterboden.

Shop Staff

As shop staff in our museum shop, you will sell tickets and souvenirs and provide information about our activities and the World Heritage site of Drottningholm. The work includes stock management, receiving goods, price labeling, inventory, and cleaning.

It is highly desirable that you, in addition to experience in cash handling and sales, have a good customer service attitude with a natural ability and joy in inspiring and helping visitors find the unique souvenir that best helps them remember their visit to the theatre.

Scope of Work

In the recruitment process, we prioritize candidates who can work the entire period from May to September. Please specify your availability in your application.

To be employed, you must participate in two training days in April (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM on April 23 for all and 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM on April 24 for guides) as well as a mandatory fire drill for all from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM on April 27, 2026.

Work will also take place on weekends, public holidays, and evenings. A collective agreement is in place.
